Bangladesh Police boosts computer skills to pace up with the new generation technical society

Under the Police Reform Program (PRP) of UNDP, 700 police officers from Bangladesh Police will be provided with computer fundamental training. The training would be provided on computer fundamental and trouble shooting, introduction to windows, introduction to MS Word and MS Excel, Bengali Typing, and introduction to internet and webmail. 

The training on “Basic ICT Skill Awareness for Bangladesh Police” is conducted by IBCS-PRIMAX Software (BD) Ltd. in Dhaka and 5 different out-skirt divisions associated with other Computer Learning Institutes including Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Sylhet and Barisal.

IBCS-PRIMAX Software (BD) Ltd. would be training 340 police officers and the other associated Computer Learning Institutes all around the country will train 360 officers, 120 in Chittagong, and 120 in Rajshahi, 60 in Khulna, 30 in Sylhet and 30 in Barisal. 

The inauguration program was held on March 20, 2011 at “Chayanaut Sangskriti Bhaban” organized by PR Program, UNDP, UK Aid, Bangladesh Police and Bangladesh Government. The program was inaugurated by IGP Mr. Hassan Mahmood Khandakar, Additional Inspector General of CID Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, and Additional Inspector General (Resource) Syed Shah Zaman Raj, Assistant Country Director UNDP- Bangladesh Young Hong; Project Manager of the training programme Henk Van Zyl, and Mr. Tareq Naushad, CTO IBCS-PRIMAX were present at the occasion.      
During the inauguration, IBCS-PRIMAX representatives Education Department Manager, Mr. Kazi Ashiqur Rahman, Manager Accounts & Finance, Mr. S.M Sazzad Hossian. As well as instructors Al-Amin, Nehar Azam and Syed Ziaul Habib from IBCS-PRIMAX were present at the occasion.

Hence, training the Bangladesh Police is to stride a step higher for IBCS-PRIMAX to advance the service of the nation.
